relationship with money

Trauma-informed and compassionate counseling for anyone

Too often, people treat their mental health care like the sprinkles on a cupcake: a nice-to-have bonus on top of more important, foundational ingredients.

At Moxie, mental health isn’t a sprinkle, it’s the whole cake.

Caring for your mental and emotional health is the foundation to living a full and vibrant life. It helps you build and maintain healthy relationships, heal from traumas and behavior patterns that are holding you back, and prepare you to move forward in life with confidence.

If you’re looking for a compassionate therapist who’s unafraid to keep you accountable, you’ve come to the right place.

Healing your relationship with money and moving forward with abundance

Finances are a major pain point for a lot of people. At Moxie, we’re here to help you heal your relationship with money, no matter what stage of life you’re in.

Ignoring financial struggles or concerns often just digs you into a deeper financial hole. At Moxie Wellness, we’re ready to pull you out of that hole, shine a light on your relationship with money, and help you strategize a plan for moving forward in life with confidence.

We’re not here to cut up your credit cards or shame you for past debts. We’re here to help you understand your current financial situation and analyze options for making it better.

Note:  I hold a Graduate Certificate in Financial Therapy from Kansas State University.

Pricing & insurance

It’s important to me to be transparent, fair, and upfront about my pricing. I offer my therapy services on a sliding scale to make them more accessible, and am not in network with any insurance companies. If cost is a barrier to receiving the mental health support you need, I’d still love to talk to you. I may be able to offer a superbill for insurance reimbursement or refer you to a colleague who does accept insurance.

About
Angie Ritz, LMFT

I don’t know about you, but the very first thing I ask myself when I look at someone’s website is, “Why should I work with you?” Valid question - especially when it comes to therapy!

My entry to into the professional mental health world was a doozy. While I have a lot to be grateful for, I also have a lot of lived experiences that have shaped my own relationship with mental health and have prepared me to help others through their respective up-and-down journeys.

While my educational resume will tell you all about my Bachelor’s degree in Marriage and Family Counseling, my Master’s in Marriage and Family Therapy, and my Financial Therapy certificate, my personal history is really what makes me relatable.
